Thursday: BIKE 63 mins and 16-17 miles in TGP
Friday: RUN 5 miles in 40.5 minutes at home!
Saturday: rest
Sunday: RUN 7 miles in 59.9 minutes
Monday: BIKE 1 hour and 16.6 miles on Puppy
Tuesday: rest
The first bike was loops in TGP on Puppy, WU and CD as to/from them figure-8 like loops until time up. Loved this, could be a regular thing! The second bike was at home, was super happy when I saw the sign saying "loose gravel". Lucky me, I had a gravel-ready bike! Ha!
The first run was to my new 2015 songlist, new in that it's the first time I played it running. Damn, must be some good beats because lookit that pace! This run felt good, but knee hurt after. The second run same thing. I'd planned 5-6 miles but it turned into a run out 30 mins (3.45 miles) then negative split it back. The goal became 7 miles under 60 mins. Score! This run hurt a bit but was showing improvement.
My pedometer tracker showed a substantial decrease in steps-- likely another restful aspect that helped my knee recover. I feel energetic and ready to rumble! And sign up for a race :)
Here's to the End of May, and the Start of June!
