RUN 7.08 miles in 1 hour, just under 8:30 m/m pace
BIKE COMMUTE 11.3 miles
Ha, had to include the 0.08 after joking with LC about it. We ran the loop together with IT after the guys took off from the front. Still a great pace for the "back of the pack" group. Sunny day, super clear, but what the hell with the cold!? Low 50's this morning!
Run felt great, no issues.
Later in the morning I took Puppy downtown to the IRS office for my tax issues. It's still wiiiiiindy out there but a smooth ride nicely timed to have missed King Car commute. Found the building, had a very nice security guy point me to the bike racks (I had that 'look' apparently!), had two nice security guys ask me to put my bike took at the bike, and had a very nice woman answer all my questions about this sh!t going on. On the way out the nice security guys wished me safe riding. Pleasant experience, left with a smile even though my identity has been fraudulently used to file tax forms.
Then a great ride straight into work. I'm planning on this morning's wind being a nice tailwind this afternoon. Would love that!
Emailed T at PYP, he just replied. Odd to have a conversation like this, but I'm smiling from it.
