I did go to the acute care Friday evening, the x-ray didn't indicate any breaks. That leaves me with what is likely a soft tissue injury that might require an MRI. The doctor treating me said my musculature is keeping the knee stabilized, might be why I'm walking and etc OK.
You'd think that after all the buildup to this race and all the stress of this injury (not to mention the stress of the rib and back and shoulder...) that I'd be more bummed about this? I feel kinda numb. Maybe relieved? It's really hard to explain.
The full moon was beautiful. I caught sight of it on my way home from work around 8pm.
