Another MRI?

RUN 4 miles in 38 mins

Yeah, I ran. I needed to "test" things before my appt! That and the knee was kinda feeling OK and I was wondering if I'm suddenly magically healing and didn't need the appt anymore. I didn't say it was rational.

The run felt OK, painful but OK. Just felt good to be running. Such a calm, quiet, warm, windless sunrise :)

So the appt. I saw his PA? DC who saw me previously for the shoulder. He has a similar limit with his infraspinatus except his is muscular damage. He explained why some arm lifts have a 'dead spot' -- the teres minor manages things over head, but not below. Anyway back on topic.

After some testing and talking, it's either a bone contusion or damage/contusion to the tendon that connects the quad muscles to the patella. He ordered an MRI and gave me some NSAID topical to test. Call back when I have the MRI finished to see what else to do.

I asked how much running and biking I could do, if any. Said that if he gives me an inch I'll take 26 miles, haha, some IronHumor for ya. He said it's OK to keep moving unless the pain starts to get worse. If the pain stays the same, I'm probably still healing.

He also said my knee is in great condition as per the xrays. Yay! Now only if I could move without pain.

In other news, I finally burned my 2015 Songlist CD! So proud of myself. And have the songs stuck in my head :)
