My knee hurt, so I ran to the gym

RUN 47 mins and 5 miles
STRENGTH 1 hr
BIKE COMMUTE 10 miles

That makes sense, right? Realize your injured knee still hurts and opt to run to the gym instead of ride? Sure. I mean, if it's gonna hurt either way...

Mostly "bar" work this morning: deadlifts 80#, rows of different types 30# bar, overhead press with 30# bar (this one a struggle at first, the muscles learned), then some cable work for rear deltoids, front lateral raises (fail left arm on this one). We worked to about 12 reps, would increase weight if possible, I like the progression.

Wonderfully beautiful morning to run! Calm and cool. Everything a bit messy after all that rain, but on the plus side everything is so green.

Little extra bike today as I rode to the tattoo studio to consult with my artist! Schedule for the 25th, only 12 days away. Looking forward to what she comes up with, and how my new bee is going to look!

And my right eye keeps twitching. That hasn't happened in awhile!
