RUN: 6.48 miles in 51:45. 7:59m/m pace. It was a push at the end, oh heck, the last 2 miles were tough! After getting the new bike shoes fit, I've found another muscle in my left quads. One that I apparently wasn't using, as my left knee tracked inwards towards the bottom of the pedal stroke. Anyway, I'm feeling this muscle now, especially late in today's run. Ooh, so tired.
I went looking to see if this was a PR. Close but not quite. In November I did the loop in 51:40. Nuts. I watched the clock today to catch my 10K time--just a few seconds under 50 mins. I'm looking to run a stand-alone 10K soon, and since it will be first ever it is sure to be a PR. :-)
