SWIM: 2000y in 55 mins. Main set was 800 loco: 1/1 (as 25y easy/25y fast), 2/2, 3/3, 4/4, 3/3, 2/2, 1/1. Then 2x300.
I'm finding that if I quit worrying about the "gliding" I keep better momentum, and thus a faster pace.
I cut short the swim, the chemicals in the pool were getting to me. My silver jewerly is blackened, and my nasal membrane and eyes are still burning hours later. They checked the chems but said they were normal, regardless it was too distracting to continue. My teeth, lips, and gums felt squeaky, too. If you've ever been in an over-chem'd pool, the squeaky thing would make sense.
And I got my favorite Lara Bar--Cashew Cookie! Nummy!! Even though it tasted funny, I enjoyed it. So 3 swims this week, a total of 4 miles in 3.25 hours.
