RUN 10 miles in 1:47, ave HR 138 and ave cad 168
Another good run with high cadence average even with the walk breaks! Or am I reading too much into this?
Hot morning on Grant's Trail, made bad only by the fact that there was almost no wind. But some cloudy cover at first to help.
I was sore! Yesterday didn't heat-burn me like last weekend on Greensfelder (heat and/or race recovery and/or sick) but just left me with joint and muscle fatigue. But not on injury type of pain. Just a training type of pain.
Again meant an early start but was about an hour off my goal. Not bad. Camelbak and a clementine orange in run. Usual banana, 3 egg white, maybe some cottage cheese pre run.
Again my run a mile, walk a minute or less plan. Again worked on form. Again a podcast this time it was.... I think Ten Junk Miles meet the Badger runners episode. All good.
I really wanted to walk more in the last mile, and while I wasn't too eagerly staring ahead for the mileage markers I was always happy to see them.
All felt great, again tried to nap and drank a lot afterwards. Some stomach upset after I tried oatmeal. Had trouble falling asleep again. Been last few nights like that. But all good. :)
Oh and No M at all today. WIN. Gotta change.
