BIKE COMMUTE 13.8 miles
Poor sleep last night, been that way the past few nights. I've been hitting the diphenhydramine for it, don't like that idea but that's what it's been. I woke up around 4am to the dog wanting out, went back to bed and woke up later with twilight in the window! 5:38am! My phone volume was down. So out the door (thumbs up for pre packing last night) and to the track on time.
MikeS showed up as I did, then BE, and we got three WU laps in. My right groin hurts, no doubt about it. Worst when starting the walk to run. Doesn't hurt on stairs or to lift the leg, or to bike until I stand up. I'll keep detailing it as I go. And the golf ball shaped and sized bruise on the left leg from where I hit the bike pedal last week decided to complain this morning too. When BE suggested a 2x 600-400-200 on 200 walk rest, I was disappointed in the short distance but knew it was best for me.
MS rocked his intervals, lapped me. BE was ahead of me but waited. 2 CD laps and done. Oooh, this hurt.
Should I run the 8 tomorrow? Or rest, do the TGP ride instead. Think on it!!!! Think long term, not just Wednesday.
