RUN 5.75 miles in about an hour
COMMUTE 13.8
Solo run at the track, BE out of town. Not sure if MikeS and/or LevA will join someday? Or IT? Come on guys, circles are fun!
WU 1 lap walk (not in the math) and 2 lap jog
MS 1 lap, 2 laps, 3 laps, 4 laps, 3, 2, 1 (RI walk about 100y, not in math)
CD none
Post title overheard from the soccer team, a coach I think, telling the girls to not cut short the shuttle runs.
Another bad math day. Before I left for the track I counted, on my fingers of course that up the pyramid would be 10 laps or 2.5 miles. Then I thought if I do a pyramid, with 3 laps WU and 3 laps CD I'd get the goal 4 miles. But all along planning to run up and down the pyramid. Duh.
Beautiful morning, hot and heavy. The sprinklers were on for awhile. The girls soccer team was out, first time I've seen them. My workout looked better. And longer. haha.
Felt great, HR a little high during the intervals at 150-155. So instead of speed, I focused on form. Laughed at the idea of doing a 10 miler here tomorrow, how awful that would be. Then of course debated if I should run 8.25 tomorrow instead of 10 because of the extra today...or run less Thursday...geezus just run.
Last night I was working on hotels for upcoming races. I want to pay for the hotel mom reserved in Annawan for Hennepin 100, but she said to put the $$ to the Wisconsin hotel.
I'm going to say that Wisconsin is a "go" for me. Then this morning I wake up to a Friday 5 mile preview run for the Shippey. Do I need to be registered for that, or can I just run? Hmmmm.....
Either way, I have to get my hotels lined up. And I've started pack lists for Wisconsin.
This morning I daydreamed about doing IMWI 2020.
Heard from the vet -- ShoogaBoo seemed to have a bacterial infection. One NFA was "non-lymphoid" with bacteria, the results weren't too clear since another vet was reading someone else's notes. I go back next week. Regardless of the details, the swelling is greatly diminished although she's still not eating readily unless some chicken broth is added.
