The whole weekend was wonderful! Parents came for a visit, went out and ate Nicaraguan and Japanese, weather was beautiful, and overall just felt great.
Broke out my new Adrenalines for these runs. Took the insole/orthotic form the Lotus. These are the same model of shoe, purchased in August 2015!
Saturday was literally "running" an errand. Ran to Walgreens and back to get a prescription. For some reason was really anxious about this run. Maybe because I was looking forward to the visit? Because I was watching the phone to get news? I know when I wait until later to run, instead of doing it right away, I get anxious. Like maybe I'll miss my run, and I hate to do that! What wasn't good was that in waiting until 830 to run, I got toooooo hungry and ended up eating right before my run. Ugh.
Sunday I felt guilty about leaving for 15-30 mins for my run, but it's like a drug hit. I feel so much better after I run, and reference above for a source of anxiety.
It all felt good, recovery weekend!!
NUMERICS: 30.2 miles
I'd like to start layering in some swim, bike, run, and strength. Thinking about talking to a personal trainer about 30 min sessions he's offering. But what morning to do it?!
And this is the last day of my gluten challenge! I'm happy I managed to not eat junky gluten food this weekend. Thought about getting something from the bakery, but that just adds another level of not feeling good.
