RUN 6.3 miles in 1:05
BIKE COMMUTE 9.5
EW has often offered to run together during the week and I always declined as a time save. So much quicker to run from home on Tuesday's. But it's worth it when I can do it. The original plan for me was 4 miles, maybe 4-5. She wanted about 6 so I rolled with it. We took it easy, chatted things from her mom's health, her bf and future marriage, my research and glowing mice, then on to a book called Clean about detox and elimination diet. Some aspects of the book ound like something my gut would benefit from.
Great run, relaxing. But left me aching tired. The commute in was weak.
I've been measuring my bike commute distance again by MMR. I discussed this with TV on Sunday, the fact that the MMR site and my Garmin give different numbers. Wondered what the difference could be. He suggested breaking the ride into segments to find where the diff is. Good idea! And perfectly triathledly anal.
I admit I measured MMR again today. I got to thinking that if I included the extra distance from leaving the back of the house, my route alterations through the Grove....I get 4.68 inbound, so 9.4 total. With that info I'll stick to my 9.5 number.
Then I measured the current route to PT and got 5.5 not 5! The 5 was measured running I think...another number to remeasure!
