Weds run extended by bike

RUN 8.4 miles in 1:17, just over a 9m/m
BIKE 5 miles in 20 mins
BIKE COMMUTE 9.5 miles

Part of my usual plan is to build my run volume by subbing in biking. That is what I did today. Normally I'd do a 10+ miler on Wednesday's (well really, I'd normally run commute, but I'm not there yet) and since my mileage is still on the build I decided on 8 miles plus 10 minutes biking per mile short of goal. Since 8+2=goal of 10 miles, I did 8 miles + (2x10) mins biking.

The 8 miler was easy enough, I looped up through the old neighborhood and around TGP. Showered, walked dog, brekkie, then during my commute I did the 20 mins in TGP using my loopy-loop path. This time I measured it on MMR -- a nice 5 miles. My original plan was to ride somewhere different like FoPa, but I realized that once I got close to work and being done I was more likely to push the extra ride into the afternoon. Then once into the afternoon I'd be more likely to skip the ride to get home. So I got it done right away so the day couldn't come apart on me.

Felt good!
