RUN 53:45 and 6.6 miles, 8:09m/m pace
BIKE COMMUTE 9.5 miles
Started out with the group but BE and I broke away on Skinker Hill. Didn't mean to, we just did. He told me about a beer mile he did in which he tracked not only the quarter mile intervals but also the drinking intervals. Triathlete style beer miles! Funny that his drinking intervals increased over time but the quarter mile times decreased.
The run felt good, just a perfect morning for a run. Cool, calm, sunny, dry, great course and company. Love it!
Still haven't signed up for my July and October races yet. I think I'm waiting to see how a few long weekends go first for my knee. Once I have some more confidence I'll get registered? Or will registering prompt me to get serious and take better care?
