RUN: 12 miles in 1:56 for a 9:40m/m pace
STRENGTH: 5 rounds of 5 handstand pushups, 10 pushups, 15 pullups, 20 walking lunges. 2 min rest between round.
Another late night followed by an early morning. Tomorrow I sleep in.
We met at 5:15 to get in 30 mins ahead of the group, did the loop, then did another 25 or so. That sounds like a long time but it was fun! Again LC and MK were with me, we talk and chat and the time just flies by. We kept the pace easy with no big efforts.
And I'd like to note that my orthotics, which I haven't changed at all, felt OK today. I wonder why some days are bad and others are good?
Then the xfit. Obviously I can't do 15 pullups, but I did manage 5-6 per set! Last time a few weeks ago I could only do 3-4, so I'm improving :)
After the 3rd set I thought I was going to throw up. I was dehydrated and hungry. LC's peach after the run was D-lish, but not enough. I was looking forward to the strawberry/banana protein shake in the truck!
