Training is the systematic removal of excuses

Where did my extra mile go? Usually I get 20 miles from this ride?!

Whatever, a cool morning but dry and calm. Rain expected later (it never rained later). I was a few mins later than my usual 5:55 am arrival due to reading Reddit for Game of Thrones news -- the big battle episode was last night!

BE had his P2 out for a shakedown before this weekends sprint in St Petersburg. We talked about our usual random lot of topics -- today included vegan recipes and foods like tofu and tempeh; my swimming concerns and how they are likely mental, he quoted the title above and I agree with him; oooh man we talked more but I can't recall right now! He encouraged me to join the Whispering Hills swim on Sundays with the Club. Good idea. See if I can get myself to re-arrange a run or a ride for that. Hmmm......

Higher bpm due to talking? The speed and times were similar. Yesterday's loops on same course and pace were mid-120s HR. Fatigue, dehydration, etc.
