Thursday run and Xfit

RUN: 8.64 in 1:13. First 2 miles as a solo WU in 19 mins. Then the loop back on the old route for 6.6 miles in 53-54 mins, which comes out to an 8:06-8:10 pace.
STRENGTH: 5 x (20 pushups, 30 crunches, 40 squats, 50 jumping jacks) in 19:17.

Beautiful morning. Absolutely beautiful. Warm air, a sunrise, calm winds. Just lovely. And perfect for a run!

The plan said 80 mins, and so even though I was 7 mins under that goal I'm happy. 6.6 miles at that pace is tough (but getting easier!!). And we had a big group this morning: JM, JF, LC, AB, NP, BK, JP, IT...and me. Again, just a great morning.

And I got dropped hard by a finish line attack from JF. Damn he's got a stong kick at the end! I want that! :) My legs were shaky numb ask I tried to catch him. The Gman shows a speed of 5:40 at that point, so it's fast but I wonder how fast he was going!

And more xfit! This one for time. Surprisingly, crunches are my weakness. I like to think I have a strong core but this suggests otherwise.

And oh I'm so tired now. My legs are cooked--the outsides of my legs (ITB?) is sore, my arms are weak, and I'm so happy.
