DAY OFF.
I was going to run in the morning from the WH Pool. But you know how it goes. The later it gets, the less likely I am to run. My stomach was empty, I was getting a headache, and I had a long list of things to do at home.
So while it was a day off of training, it wasn't a day off of working. Garage, yard, and house all got some much needed attention today.
And I signed up for the CE Half Classic: June 19th!! And once I get the code, I'll sign up for Gateway: May 22nd. Time to get SERIOUS!
Review of this week: 9hrs 47 mins (1.3 hr short of planned)
SWIM: 5400y in 2.55 hrs
BIKE: 89.60mi in 5.75 hrs
RUN: 8.9 mi in 1.23 hrs
I'm very happy with the 3 swims, 2 of which were Masters. I'm also very happy to be riding again! As for the run, I know I can run, so I'm only sort of miffed that I missed to run workouts. I'm still a bit burned out on the running.
Preview of this weeks goals: 11hr 20 mins planned
SWIM: 3-3hr swims, drills are in the plan but I'll do Masters
BIKE: 5.5 hrs over 3 rides, 3x8 Z4 intervals Tues then 2 long weekend rids
RUN: 4 runs, about 3hrs. Two bricks, one fast, and one 80 min long.
MY GOALS:
1. Get both bricks in
2. Go to speedwork
3. Do the OWS
