My first Weds Masters!

SWIM: 65 mins, about 2200y. I lost count in all the 75's that morphed into 50's.
RUN: 50-52 mins, 5 miles. The time is a range because the Gman didn't stop counting at stoplights. Run with LC to SLU campus and back.

And so it spreads. Weds masters can now be added to the Mon and Sat Masters. Like a slow-moving wave (no, wait, that's me in the water) Masters is taking over the schedule. But I'm not complaining. I am getting better.

I was up late working on the newsletter (ironically working on the USMS article) and didn't get much sleep, maybe 4.5 hours? And I have a memb meeting tonight, so getting to bed early there maybe.

Today's swim had a lot of 75's. I can't count 75's so well, so I did 50 and 100's. Things I'm noticing (and having pointed out to me!): I'm not using my upper body strength; my hands aren't anchoring out in front of me; I have a weak pull; I'm not putting my weight onto a solid anchor; my right arm pull is suddenly weak.

Things to work on: catching the water early to maximize the catch and anchor; keeping arms/hands out to the side; feeling the water on my forearm, moving me and not the water. And more...

Oh, my right calf cramped today! I had a leg cramp last week too, what's going on?!

Update: did the run over lunch. I thought the plan had a run for today but in reviewing it again, it didn't. Oops.
