BIKE COMMUTE to PT 5 miles
PT 1hr
Lots of rain overnight and all morning. A nice pleasant rain, if you can ignore the chill that came with it. It wasn't cold per se, just chilly. And I don't like chilly rain. Oh I do, just not biking in it. Or walking the dog. Or walking to the truck. Or doing errands...
Well anyway the doggie has been sick with GI symptoms since about last Weds. An accumulation of generally vague symptoms that add up to a sign of 'something': scooting, vomiting on Saturday, eating grass last few days, pooping and vomiting grass, and now not much interest in finishing a bowl of her kibbles. That's a sign of something right there -- a Basset not finishing her food!
So no bike commute, just a ride to and from PT. Today did more incline press, rows, pull downs, mostly with goal of getting shoulder blades to pull back. Good for my posture, which suffers even without injury and weakness.
A revelation today in PT that was of interest -- instead of getting more fatigued as sets were repeated, they got better in the left side! As if my arm had to learn how to do the motions? And by doing the first and second sets at a light weight it 'learned' what to do, then a somewhat higher weight went even better? It repeated a few times -- sets 1 & 2 seemed wobbly, sets 3 & 4 showed more confident motion. Another explanation could be that my mind is relearning to move the arm? Or I'm just learning to compensate!
