Learning more at personal training

BIKE COMMUTE 15 miles, commute + gym
STRENGTH 1 hr

Another pretty day, relaxed morning and nice weather. Not as meditative and calm as last Monday, that was blissful.

Today at PT all upper body, focusing on rear delts, lats, all those. Single and dual arm movements. In the inclined row (I think?) I realized I was getting better at detecting which muscles I'm using, which ones I'm supposed to be using, and refining technique. JG and I talked lots of nutrition -- my energy has been so flat lately, gotta be the nutrition. So aside from discussion on potato chips (my junk food over the weekend), pizze and coke zero (his!), pork rinds, balut, etc, we did talk my nutrition specifically.

I think my issue is that due to the limitations of how much starch I can intake at a time, I'm not glycogen reloading completely?

He asked what I ate after yesterday's 15 mile run. Er..........a bottle of water with BCAA, some leftover chips.....3hrs later I was barely hungry for a meal.

!!!! He pointed out that this is an issue, a duh moment for me because I do know that but I'm not honoring it!!  So I promised I'd pay more attention to it this week and report back. Sounds like I have some PubMed'ing to do.
