BIKE COMMUTE 9.5 miles
Long walkies :)
Doggie woke me up at 530, even though Siri was set for 6. Sugar might have to pee, but Siri can wait. Last night I let Sugar sleep on the bedroom deck with the door partially opened, so the air was fresh and cool. Left Siri behind to let dog out and make tea. Came back upstairs to 3rd to foam roll (one of my goals for the morning) and do a 3 min meditation with PY podcast, started laundry, got ready to go, loooong 50 mins walk with dog. All while sun was coming up, perfect temps and super light winds. Simple egg brekkie with veg and chicken broth, left for work on goal time. Perfect ride to work :)
Then at work, my pedometer doesn't sync, my phone wants to update, I have a meeting and instead I'm screwing around with these. In the meeting the morning melted away. Fast conversation, can't remember my data, I'm calm and happy but that peaceful feeling started to fade. Back to reality.
On Friday at work I limited my web surfing to email only for a digital detox. Damn that was a tough 24 hours but I LOVED it?! So limiting myself again today, allowing only for pubmed, training, blogging, email. I keep getting stuck on podcast searches though. But a nice start, not as hard as I thought.
