It's been a year!

One year since I moved into the new house! And just like a year ago, Sugar and I slept on the ground, ha!

Camping was great for me, not so sure about the dog. She didn't want to hike, she'd pull us around back to the campsite as soon as we hit a trail. I could sense that the acorns and gravel bothered her feet, but even on a smooth surface she just didn't seem like herself. So we left early, with me wondering if she was unhappy or just not feeling good for some other reason.

Once home, after unpacking and a shower I went to groceries and BRR for new trail shoes. All they had was the Cascadia 11, so after sharing my sob story I walked out with them. They do feel somewhat narrower in the mid-foot, but most notably they are really long in the toe. Like they are a half size too big! But they are lighter and have a much better road roll than the 9's. My plan is to keep these on the ready at Farmdale and pull them out if the 9's fail.
