Working on mentality shift

RUN in 5.6 miles in ?? 50 some minutes
RUN home 4.7 miles in I think 45 mins
Total 10.3 miles in 1:37

Still haven't run the outbound while I'm writing this. Not sure why I said that. Just saying.

Great run in, aside from the cold! It was 56F yesterday when I did speed work. Then when I left work to meet Mr ADT I was underdressed. Mr ADT said it dropped 18F! I didn't know about or expect this change. Then when I walked the doggie it was mid-30s. Ugh.

But spring is sooooo close. I'm seeing yellow crocus peaking up around the neighborhood, and in today's run I spotted a very early purple hyacinth!

My route today was around BP then up McNair to see the burned house. Needed something to run by! But I didn't see it. Means I get to run by it again. Then ran to Russell, then past old house, past the water tower, then in on my old route. A nice 5.5 miler route to keep in mind.

The run home was great, I'm adapting to the distance. Took my usual route meandering through Shaw and listening to the TJM podcast. Thinking about another TJM inspired 10x10...

I'm emailing back and forth with a personal trainer, just said Monday would be a good day for an initial assessment. I'm taking that step! See what I learn, I'd like to know where I am with the injury shoulder and where I WILL go with it in the next month.

Remember, I'M NOT INJURED.
