Went in to my 2016 Training Log excel sheet and deleted this week's planned runs.
On a good note, my lower back is much better than yesterday. I can walk, take a (relatively) deep breath, and merely touching the back doesn't hurt like it did. Yesterday evening I "nested" in the futon with pillows set on an incline so I was reclined enough to rest, ans so that by back was straight/comfy. Not like previous nights were I was curled up on one side.
I watched Battle of the Five Armies. Again. Second time this week! At least third time on this library rental!
Then for bed I tried the futon but it wasn't good enough. I had to keep my knees bent. So after waking a number of times I went back to the leather recliner that worked well the previous night. But this time I didn't curl up on it. I used my bandana to block out the exterior light - and slept great! Probably helps that I took the pain meds around 2-3am...
Right now, at work, BORED (my cells weren't confluent), sitting and walking OK. Much much much better.
Going back to the ribs though, been doing some analysis. There seems to be 2 if not 3 points of pain, all on the left side. One along the sternum, another under the arm, maybe even another under the left boob, but like Dr M said the rib curves and it's all the same one hurting. But last night on the futon I noted a pain in my back on the left side when I was reclining. ?? Don't feel it otherwise, sitting or breathing, so I'm not sure.
Then carrying my backpack into work today by upper back seemed tingly in one spot. Keep an eye on it all.
