1000 Loco swim in 20:55

SWIM 50 mins, 1000 Loco

I love this workout! By length: 1 easy/ 1 hard; 2/2; 3/3; 4/4; 4/4; 3/3; 2/2; 1/1. This goes SO FAST! Up the pyramid and back down. By the time you hit the 4/4's the rest seems so short.

The day was warming up by the time I got to the pool, around 2:30pm. (tax appt canceled opening up some time). However the pool water still felt cold as I prepped to hop in. The woman in the next lane promised that it gets better once you acclimate. And to my surprise -- it did! By the time the WU was done I was feeling cozy :)

I did the easy lengths as a form focus, the hard lengths as pushed. I entertained the idea of going for under 20 mins but realized that if I'm focusing on form for half the set, that'd be hard to do. But still, I'm pretty happy with this time. My 1000y TT time PR is only in the 19 min range, and that's TT effort.
