Home for the March birthdays, but first a Thursday Run!

Thursday RUN 4.5 miles in 45 mins
Friday and Saturday REST
Sunday RUN 4.5 miles in about 42 mins on TM
BIKE 1 hour easy, maybe 14 miles? on trainer to burn energy.

I'M back to the group run!! I wasn't sure when to leave the house to arrive on time, and I wanted to do my warmup walks. So I kinda anxiously paced around the house before leaving, then left, then anxiously walked around the parking lot waiting for everyone to show up! It was post-rain warm out, SHORTS warm out, so of course people would show up :)

IT, BE, EV, and the guy whose name I don't remember were there. BE and EV did the "zoo loop" with me, and I felt great. As much as I wanted to go more, I knew to wait for both cardiac endurance and my foot to catch up with my dreams of running the loop.

This was my first Thursday run since August, when I ran the loop right before Sunset Hills. So good to be back, and my goal is to be full loop running in April. Two more Thursdays of shorter, then build up from there.

Then after that -- drive home for the March Birthday festivities! I held to me 23:1 fast rules Thursday, Friday, but then relaxed it a bit Sat and Sun after not feeling up for it. The distractions don't help. But I was eating too much carbs, didn't feel good. I had planned a treadmill run Saturday but moved it to Sunday. That 4.5 milers felt great, no issues there either. Yay!

Drive home, anxious about nutrition, bought some different foods (instant mashed potatoes, don't ask why, I couldn't guess) (the salt maybe, and/or the creamy/comfort/easy digest aspect?), got home and made new meals for the week. Then to burn stress sat on the trainer for an easy hour.

During the hour, I took some guidelines from my beloved Ultrafuel training plan to sketch out a week's worth of workouts. I like the weekly structure and SBR balance of that plan so I keep reusing it. Until I join group workouts, it will give me some goals.

I'm itching for something...not sure what.
