My energy is great today, I feel so clear and optimistic and positive. It's also the start of my OptOut October challenge - no useless internet and reduced screen time. September's challenge felt great and this expands on it. We'll see how good I'm feeling after I have a few days of being unable to scratch that itch!
JG had a great circuit today: incline crunches, leg lifts, kettle bell, pushups 10-15x4; deadlifts of 5x 50+45; hack squats and 'low bar' chinups; then side, front, and press raises with 5lb dumb bells. Talked about my progress and goals for after the race. Right now it seems that I've plateaued in terms of building the infraspinatus muscle, I should focus more on home exercises though too. Told him I'll get back with him after the race and follow up on a boot camp idea. We talked for 30 mins afterward!
Gorgeous day, rain overnight but mix of sun and clouds. Kinda clouding up now, wonder if more rain? The black moon is a new term for me, happily I didn't look it up and deduced the meaning on my own -- a month with 2 new moons!
