HTFU swim

SWIM: 1800y in 40 mins

This swim was after work and after the long run. I was worn out, wavering on going, and according to the DH getting crabby about it. I wanted to go if for nothing else to prove that yes I can swim after work (95% of the time I skip this workout!) and yes I can swim tired.

There was only 1 lane for lap swimming, an aerobics class, and multiple swim lessons. The noise in the pool was a shock after weeks of quiet mornings. But once my head was under water the noise was gone and it was just me and the sound of blowing bubbles.

I was tired. Oh man was I tired. My arms did not want to hold what little form I do have.

And after this morning's long run, my ankle was not the happiest camper. Painful, maybe a 2/3 out of 10, but nothing to stop me. Dr H agreed that these are normal pains to be having.
