BIKE: 70 mins, about 20 miles. Then off to a meeting!!
Worked on fast turnover again, trying to smooth out my speedy riding. I tend to get sore feet if I go beyond a certain comfort level. Maybe the best way to really work on this is by getting some computrainer time.
Met a guy today that discussed soft tissue injuries, and it got me thinking about my left ankle. I've worked as much as I can alone to get flexibility and range of motion, but it's still painful to stretch it fully. It's not so much pain, OK it hurts but not terribly so, but more concern about what this will do as the miles build up. And what it could do to other parts of me if I start compensating.
Oh, and my arms are a little sore from yesterday's swim. :)
Oh, and I'm signed up for QQ half mary. And this Sat is my first race of 2011. I miss racing, which means it's a good time to get back to it. I'm feeling a little competitive, a little of that edge that I don't usually have come race morning. Many times I'm happy to have a good race and/or a PR. I'm feeling the itch to push it out and see what I can do!
