weekend wrap-up

Friday: unintentional day off (of training I mean).

Saturday:
BIKE: 4hrs 48 miles in Wildwood with EK and IT. While I would have tried to go faster on my own, it would have defeated the purpose. It's March, and it's not the time for hell on wheels just yet. So this ride was great. 48 miles of hills and horses, starting at 6Flags and going up to Babler.

Sunday:
SWIM: 600m in 20 mins, just 50m repeats focusing on form. Form is OK when I'm going slow, it suffers when I try to speed up.
RUN: 4 miles in ~45? mins. Nice hilly easy run after the swim. This is one of those runs that is like a massage--you feel healed afterwards.

The marathon plan calls for another 4 miles. Not sure I'll do it, I've already blown hours this weekend not getting anything done.

Numerics for the week: (includes edit of late afternoon run on Sunday, the 4 miles I didn't think I'd do)
SWIM 2056 y in 1hr
BIKE 68miles in 5:17
RUN 25.24 in 3.75hrs

so only 10 hrs this week, I think the plan called for 11. I'm doing what I can!
