Tapering Up Week

Monday RUN 2 miles in 18 mins!
Thursday RUN 7 miles ?? mins
                BIKE COMMUTE 6.4 miles, in rain
Friday PT only, more rain :)
Saturday RUN 4 miles in 40 mins

Monday's run was a stress-relief, energy-discharge, see-how-it-goes run. It went great, I loved the feeling of the wind, of motion, and of feeling normal again. Sis and her kids were visiting, so I kept it short.

Tuesday morning with family, Tuesday afternoon at work. I'm aware of my back the past few days and had trouble sleeping since the weekend. Not sure why. And I have a "click" in my left hip, with some accompanying pain in the back of the leg. 

Weds morning in PT, then more work! I'm still having some right heel pain, can't walk barefooted yet. 

Thursday was group run. CS won out and we went backwards. I ran with EW and SayD, a great run! I thought for sure I'd turn at the zoo for a 4 miler but when the chance came up to turn, I kept going. (Much to SayD's dismay!). My heel and hip were fine for the run, but the hip "clicked" all day long again. 

Friday was my second to last therapy, feeling good!

Saturday's run was to the TGP pavilion, oooooh I was tired. Flat energy. Gotta remember I'm not only race recovering, but also adapting to the heat and going through a diet challenge.

I started the SCD intro on Tuesday, so I was sure I'd be carb depleted for the run. To my total surprise, I was fine? I'm living on carbs from carrots?!
