Last "long" run on the Chubb with TV

RUN 10 miles in 2:15-:20

I stuck to my goals of not over-eating brekkie before the run, that happens sometimes when I have a later start. Today was 10am, ripe for that problem. Goal!

I spend part of the morning putting bungee laces in the Cascadia's and moving insoles from my pink Adrenalines to the Cascadia's. The recent Greensfelder 30-miler really messed the shoes up. The laces were locked up with mud. The insoles fell out and turned into flat rocks. And to my dismay, there is a tear forming in both shoes were the ball of the foot flexes! I bought new Cascadia's, but my confidence in them is too low to try. I'd rather wear the older Cascadia's, the 8's. I marked the tear with a black marker to see if it spread in today's run. Can't tell if it did.

My energy was awesome, finally feeling the taper. No back problems, the rice crackers test succeeded, the baby rice food at the halfway point succeeded, and the changes to the shoes went good.

I'm feeling good, but still full of doubt. It just seems.....like a reaaaaallly long way to run!
